Thank you for your interest in joining our remote, national team!

About Us:

The Farmers Land Trust (TFLT) is a national nonprofit that helps transition farmland into community ownership through its Farmland Commons model. Farmland Commons are locally held nonprofit entities that give next-generation farmers secure, affordable, 99-year leases to practice chemical-free, regenerative agriculture. TFLT's work spans protecting agricultural land, investing in soil health and farm infrastructure, and expanding land and capital access to communities historically excluded from land ownership. The organization builds on the traditions of conservation and community land trusts, but centers its model on ownership, access and tenure and equity with working agricultural land — restoring soil and ecosystems while keeping farmers, equity, and community connection at the center of how land is held and cared for.
