Monetary Donations

IRA Charitable Gift

If you are subject to Required Minimum Distributions, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to The Farmers Land Trust from your IRA could help you reduce your taxable income and be charitable at the same time! For questions, please email [email protected].

Other Ways to Give

Donate a Vehicle, RV, or Farm Machinery

To get started, fill out the form linked here, and they will pick up your car, truck, RV, or farm machinery, and The Farmers Land Trust will get the cash from the sale of your vehicle. There is no cost to you and the value of the gift is tax deductible.

Land Gift

Donating your farmland, farm, or other real estate property for future generations of food, agriculture, community, and ecosystem health and farm business viability to The Farmers Land Trust is one of the finest legacies a person can leave to the future. If you are in the early stages of consideration or are ready to donate your farmland, farm, or other real estate property, we will work with you to explore and identify the best pathways forward. Bequest

The most common form of a planned gift is a bequest. List The Farmers Land Trust as a beneficiary in your will or living trust for a fixed amount or a percentage of your estate, as a beneficiary of your life insurance or retirement accounts, and to transfer your farmland, farm, or other real estate property to donate. The Farmers Land Trust accepts both farmable and non-farmable land. Here is sample language that can be used for a bequest.
