We Are Hiring and So Much More!

At The Farmers Land Trust, we are creating action, change, and hope around North America through the Farmland Commons. The incredible support and engagement we receive from you and our extended networks daily motivates and inspires us. Thank you!

We see community as the most potent and hopeful tool we have for building a verdant future. Coming back together on the land is where we will step into our greatest power. We can heal our world by supporting those called to steward plants, animals, and soil. Through the Farmland Commons model, we see that by pooling resources to protect our working farms, regenerative farmers can focus their time on creatively developing systems that beautifully interconnect with the symbiotic forces of our natural world.

The Farmers Land Trust is excited to be growing and pushing the boundaries of what is possible, and are grateful that you joined us in this impactful work!

We are hiring a Part-time Operations Manager! The person selected for this role will be able to operate independently with close coordination with the co-directors to ensure ongoing compliance with a variety of tasks; overseeing day-to-day activities within the organization to ensure efficient and effective operations. This position will also interface with partners and vendors.

The Giving Spotlight

Thank you to everyone who donated to The Farmers Land Trust in 2024! Because of you, we succeeded in reaching our fundraising goal of $20,000 from individual donors! Your support, when combined with foundation grants, and consulting and speaking engagements, has increased our capacity to help farmers and save farmland. We value your partnership as we continue our direct action to protect, transition, provide access, and ensure sustainable stewardship of farmland around the country!

Conference Chronicles

The Farmers Land Trust team has been honored and humbled to be able to speak and present at several different regional agriculture conferences in the first two months of 2025, and have enjoyed rich experiences full of connection, engagement, and deep alignment and building around Farmland Commons projects.

Even more wonderful than the turnout for our presentations and the productive meetings with partners we had, was the opportunity we created to have several of The Farmers Land Trust board members be in person and connect with Farmland Commons farmers and growers.

Land work is big work. It takes many people coming together to steadily and strongly, with purpose and persistence, move mountains. We are beyond grateful for an engaged and active Board of Directors, the many movers and shakers that make up the Farmland Commons farmers, land owners, community members, and the organizations and people contributing in countless meaningful ways. Together we are making this work possible!
