IRA Charitable Gift
If you are subject to Required Minimum Distributions, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to The Farmers Land Trust from your IRA could help you reduce your taxable income and be charitable at the same time! If you have any questions, please email development@thefarmerslandtrust.org.

Donor Advised Fund
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable program which allows donors to make a contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then distribute grants from the fund over time. If you have a DAF, you can transfer funds directly to The Farmers Land Trust by following this link. If you would like to open a DAF, Fidelity, Schwab, and Vanguard are the most popular, although there are other organizations that can assist you.

Company Matching Donations
Many company matching gift programs will match gifts to The Farmers Land Trust, please ask your company about this option. If you have any questions, please email development@thefarmerslandtrust.org.

Bequest
The most common form of a planned gift is a bequest. List The Farmers Land Trust as a beneficiary in your will or living trust for a fixed amount or a percentage of your estate, as a beneficiary of your life insurance or retirement accounts, and to transfer your farmland, farm, or other real estate property to donate.The Farmers Land Trust accepts both farmable and non-farmable land.
