Alternate Structure for a
Farmland Commons: 501(c)(2)
Instead of three to thirty-five nonprofit 501(c)(3)'s coming together to form a Farmland Commons as in the 501(c)(25) structure, the 501(c)(2) is created as a separate entity of and subsidiary of a single 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
The rest of the structure and model found here remains the same between
a 501(c)(25) and a 501(c)(2) Farmland Commons structure.
